It's been an awesome weekend for The Mission Garden.
TJ and Annesa along with Hayden and Kayla (representing the Runners EKG group) came by Saturday morning and picked the first few green beans from the garden. HUGE thanks to them for spending time out in the heat. They even picked a few weeds...okay, maybe more than a few!
Then Byron Baird and The Vestals (Scott and Lydia) represented the Jogger's EKG group and came to install 60 tomato cages. WOW! They worked hard and within a short time had all the tomatoes properly secured. As you can see in the picture above, it won't be long til we will be harvesting 'maters too.
