The Mission Field

The Mission Field is located in the heart of the Gunter proper city limits. Donated by a generous community resident, the land has been readied for planting the 2009 garden. Volunteers have participated in the "adopt a crop" program and will be planting various vegetable during April. The Gunter Cub Scouts, First Baptist Church Gunter, Individual families, Grace Bible Fellowship, KW Utility Construction and others have volunteered time, money and services. The food raised will be given to families that are currently using the Mission Food Pantry. Clients of the Food Pantry are invited to participate in the care of the garden duing the summer months.
